In the Faculty of Science, Engineering & Built Environment: Mentors Faculty staff on scholarly research and publication. Assists Faculty staff with the development of internal and external teaching and learning grants and awards. Contributes to a range of Faculty outreach activities. Faculty representative on the $3.2M OLT-funded ReMSTEP project. Faculty representative on the Skilling the Bay project: Successful Students – STEM Program. On the Reference Group for the OLT-funded MathBench for Australian Universities project. Grant reviewer for the Office of Learning and Teaching. Contributes to planning and running of Faculty Work Integrated Learning units.Contributes to the university-wide Research My World crowfunding initiative betwen Deakin and Pozible - approximately AU$200,000 raised for 19 projects. Initial evaluation report here. Stuart retains a strong interest in Frequency Domain Analysis. Stuart has developed methods for the visualisation and characterisation of social media interactions.
