Academic
Stuart contributes to the GCHE unit EEE716 - Specialist Studies in Higher Education.

Stuart contributes to academic professional development activities run by Schools/Faculties on request.

Stuart is mentoring Deakin staff in nominating for the 2012 round of Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning awarded by the Office of Learning and Teaching.

In 2011, Stuart (as a team member with Dale Holt) was awarded a $220,000 Australian Learning and Teaching Council Leadership for Excellence in Learning and Teaching Program Grant (for 2011 and 2012) for the project entitled Building distributed leadership in designing and implementing a quality management framework for Online Learning Environments.

During 2012, due to a restructure, Stuart was seconded to the Faculty of Science and Teachnology at Deakin University.

Research
Stuart retains a strong interest in Frequency Domain Analysis.

Service
Stuart represents Deakin on the organising committee, and is a manuscript reviewer, for the Australian ePortolio Conference 2012.

Stuart represents ITL on the Faculty of Science and Technology teaching and learning committee.
